A commanding front entrance featuring hand-cut Eramosa stone steps with clean nosing, set against a heritage stone facade.
The Challenge
The original concrete steps were cracking, uneven, and detracted from the home's elegant stone exterior. The homeowners wanted an entrance that matched the architectural prestige of the house.
Our Approach
Removed the failing concrete and constructed new steps from hand-selected Eramosa stone slabs with precision-cut nosing. Each tread was set on a reinforced concrete foundation engineered for Toronto's freeze-thaw cycles.
The Result
A front entrance that now matches the stature of the home — with steps that are level, frost-resistant, and will age gracefully alongside the original stonework for decades.
